2017-இல் தமிழகத்தில் நடந்த ஜல்லிக்கட்டு போராட்டத்தின் மூலம் பிரபலமானவர் ஜூலி. தமிழ் பெண், வீர தமிழச்சி என தமிழ் மக்கள் இவரை புகழ்ந்து பேசினர்.

இவர்கள் இப்படி உசுப்பேற்றி விட்டு, இவருடன் பிக்பாஸ் நிகழ்ச்சியில் கலந்துகொண்ட மற்றவர்களுக்கு சினிமாவில் வாய்ப்புகள் கிடைத்துவந்த சூழலில்,

அம்மன் தாயி என்கிற ஒரு படம் கிடைத்தது அப்புறம் அதுவும் ரிலீஸாகாமல் போகவே, பிரபல தொலைக்காட்சி ஒன்றில் குழந்தைகள் ஆடும் ரியாலிட்டி ஷோ ஒன்றைத் தொகுத்து வழங்கி வந்தார்.

அதற்கு பிறகு அவ்வபோது எதாவது புகைப்படங்கள் வெளியிட்டு அதன் பின் மக்களிடம் திட்டு வாங்குவது ஜூலியின் பொழுது போக்காகிவிட்டது.

இந்த நிலையில், தற்போது மெழுகு ஒழுகுவது போல போட்டோ ஷூட் நடத்தி அதை பெருமையாக வெளியிட்டுள்ளார் ஜூலி. இதைப்பார்த்த நெட்டிசன்ஸ் இவரை “தீக்குளிக்க முயற்சி செய்யும் போது, படம் புடிச்சுட்டாங்க”, என்று கலாய்க்கிறார்கள்.
